What if you got the wish to drive the car you wanted?? What car would that be? It doesn’t mean that you need to own the car but just drive it. As a car fanatic what cars would be on your bucket list? There could be a host of choices flashing through your mind this very minute so to help you out; here is a list of 17 cars to drive before you die.

At $200,000, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 will let you drive as fast as possible. At a top speed of 253mph, whats not to like in the speed buster which many drivers have gone ga-ga over. This particular model has been regarded as a supercar engineered by Volkswagen. The car features 12 powerful radiators and an all-wheel drive. The amazing thing about the Veyron is that it is one of the easiest power production cars to drive.

2Ferrari 250GT SWB

When you think of luxury sports cars, there can’t be anything better than the Ferrari 250GT SWB. The vehicle oozes power and sounds superbly cool while running. The vehicle features up to 240 HP and is a dream to look at. Among the most popular Ferrari is the Pininfarina-styled Gran Turismo Berlinetta manufactured between 1960-1962.

Now, this list of cars to drive before you die isn’t just related to those super fast cars, older models too are out of this world and the Ford Thunderbolt 1964 is well worth a mention in any list. With modifications like a 427 cid V-8 at 45 HP, there are no visors, heat, or anything to slow down the vehicle. When it was clocked, the vehicle did a quarter mile in 11.61 seconds at 124 mph.

5 Ferrari F40

One of the last Ferraris most probably approved by the great man Enzo himself was produced between 1987and 1992. It was undoubtedly the most exotic vehicle of the day, the fastest and of course the most expensive. It came with a price tag of $400,000 and featured a top speed of 200 mph

9TVR Cerebra

Although it closed for some time, Britain’s TVR did churn out some fantastic models in its day. The Cerebra is an iconic symbol of British racing and is named after the three headed monster that guards Hades. One of the classiest models in terms of styling and aggression, the 3500 GT was one of Maserati’s most successful entries in the Gran Turismo. Two types of configurations were made available of the vehicle being the 2+2 and the two-seater.  Only 2226 vehicles were produced making it a high priced vehicle today for its rarity.

12Duesenberg SJ

The Duesenberg SJ was quite a big car for its day which weighed 2.5 tons. The engineering was considered advanced and sophisticated for the day. It outshone its contemporaries with its 6.9 liters straight eight engine.  In 1928, the model featured 265 HP which was amazing at the time. Only 500 Duesenbergs were built at the time between 1928-1937, which makes this also another rare bird of today. Many of them are still surviving as the pride of collectors across the world.

It is a smooth ride that is very simple to drive and can go to ungodly speeds of 60mph in 2.6 seconds flat. Think of that!! 15Shelby Daytona Coupe

The Shelby Daytona Coupe was modeled after the Cobra Chassis and power plant that was built for GT racing. It was also targeted at outracing Ferraris which dominated the race tracks at the time. However, only 6 Daytonas made it to the production line between 1964 and 1965 which is why it became a rare model and one which you should definitely drive and put on your bucket list.
