3Insect Bites, Stings and Poison Ivy

If you get stung by stinging nettle, poison ivy or are suffering from an insect bite, baking soda with water makes a great remedy to reduce the inflammation and intensity of the sting. The same application can be used for irritable and itchy skin rashes as well, because its chemical properties have the ability to remove toxins from the infected area.
